Once again, we celebrate the anniversary of MGS Architecture Magazine by bringing meaningful insights into Architecture, Design, Materiality, and Sustainability in Construction.

Architecture of Resilience

In this Special 20th Anniversary issue, Architects and Real Estate Developers share their views on how their architectural strategies and sustainable construction practices can help reduce carbon footprints in urban projects, while ensuring resilient and aesthetically appealing interior spaces.

Architecture of Resilience

They give practical solutions on designing buildings that consume less energy, using renewable resources, and incorporating climate-resilient technologies. Integrating repurposed/recycled materials, leveraging digital tools like BIM and AI, and adopting modular and adaptive designs, not only minimizes the negative environmental impact of construction activities, but also contributes towards long-term sustainability of the built environment.

Given the plethora of projects being built across the country, construction waste is piling up at an alarming rate, polluting the environment, and posing health risks. However, much of this waste can be reused, instead of sending it to landfills.

Architecture of Resilience

Hence, many architects and real estate developers are making efforts towards reducing construction material waste and repurposing it into reusable valuable resources. This environmentally conscious approach is also economically viable for the construction industry. However, we need to create a stronger ecosystem where architects, interior designers, builders, material suppliers and producers collaborate to drive sustainable practices in the field of architecture, design, and construction.
