The Nest, designed by MuseLAB
Designing a space isn’t merely about arranging furniture or selecting colour schemes; it’s about crafting an immersive experience that resonates with the very essence of those who inhabit it.

Principal Designers Huzefa Rangwala & Jasem Pirani

The Nest, nestled within the vibrant cityscape of Ahmedabad, is a 6500 sq ft, three-storey residence where personalised art forms, peppy patterns in Kota flooring, curvaceous chairs, a bespoke totem by Harshita Jhamtani standing sentinel in a corner, a bone-inlay chest of drawers, doors decorated with contemporary motifs and dark walnut finish, envelope one in an atmosphere of whimsical delight.

There is a visual symphony of textures and shapes. A tetris-like Kota skirting adorns the edges of the staircase whose fabricated balustrades, concealing hidden light fixtures, cast a soft glow upon the staircase. A galleria, with its walls awash in Pacific blue, paintings, and a patterned runner add colour to the space. Just beyond the galleria is a sparkling pool and poolside deck, accessible via French doors.

The living room, dining area, and dry kitchen blend into one another, creating a harmonious flow where form meets function. From the form-finished concrete ceiling to the polished Kota flooring, every element is carefully curated. There is mammoth dining table with intricate inlay details; the master bedroom is of faceted geometry and has a pine wood-clad ceiling, while the lounge has leather-finished kadappa flooring and minty green accents.
