Shanti Vihar-23 by Nadora: A Harmonious Blend of Modern Sophistication and Earthy Warmth

Shanti Vihar-23, located in the heart of East Delhi, is a luxurious 2,552 sq. ft. four-bedroom apartment that stands as a testament to modern urban living. Part of a four-storey builder floor with convenient stilt parking, this home is ideally situated in a prime area with easy access to essential amenities such as the local market, metro station, hospitals, and gyms. It offers a perfect blend of convenience and tranquility, making it an ideal retreat for a modern family. The vision for Shanti Vihar-23 was clear from the outset: the clients desired a stylish, contemporary home that would cater to the diverse needs of all family members. Nadora by Ritu Gupta embraced this vision, setting out to create a space that not only exudes modernity but also incorporates natural elements, bringing the outdoors inside. This is beautifully exemplified in the use of terracotta jali tiles on the façade, which not only add distinctive aesthetic appeal but also allow for fresh air circulation, ensuring the interiors remain bright and airy.

Upon entering, the thoughtful layout becomes immediately apparent. The various spaces within the home flow effortlessly into one another, creating a sense of expansiveness while still maintaining distinct functional areas. The drawing room, family lounge, and dining area are designed to offer both comfort and style, with seamless transitions that enhance the overall living experience. Strategically placed shafts in the center of the home allow for abundant natural light and ventilation, ensuring that every corner feels welcoming and alive. The design inspiration behind this project was to achieve a harmonious balance between modern sophistication and earthy warmth. The terracotta jali, with its contemporary interpretation, stands as a symbol of this balance, while the interiors feature a soothing palette of colors and materials that bring freshness and cheer to the home. Artworks add a touch of quirkiness, keeping the environment vibrant and youthful. One of the standout features of Shanti Vihar-23 is the meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of the design. Luxurious Italian stones adorn the flooring throughout the house, lending an air of opulence. In the drawing room, onyx wall cladding and an onyx-topped dining table serve as focal points that exude elegance. Rich wood veneer paneling on the dining room walls adds warmth and texture, creating a cozy yet sophisticated ambiance. Even the bathrooms feature tiles designed to mimic the look of Italian stones, ensuring a consistent sense of luxury throughout the home.


The color palette has been carefully curated to reflect a fusion of modernity and comfort, combining soothing hues like white, cream, taupe, and sage with darker shades of brown, grey, and black for added depth. The master bedroom, with its unique combination of sage green and cherry red, perfectly illustrates how color can create a striking yet harmonious environment. In the private spaces, textures take center stage—fumed oak veneer in the family lounge and dining area adds warmth, while stone-textured tiles in the bathrooms contribute to a modern, upscale vibe. One of the most captivating aspects of Shanti Vihar-23 is the way the interiors come to life. The onyx wall cladding in the drawing room is a luxurious highlight, while the hand-painted artwork on the master bedroom’s bed-back wall adds a unique and personal touch.
