54 Social Housing consists of 54 social protection homes and parking space on an administration-owned, rectangular-shaped plot of 3,266 m2 area. The building is organized along a north-south axis that gives rise to the location of two independent volumes, generating a public space between them. The housing modules are organized around a central wet core that defines day and night areas, according to the site characteristics and its uses.

In respect to the climate crisis, the project features NeZB efficiency (0.64 Kw.h/m2×Year), water cycle (max. 100l p/p), waste reduction by 20% on theoretical production, and 50% CO2 emissions reduction from materials (compared to similar buildings characteristics).
The façade is resolved by a double ceramic sheet with recycled cotton insulation and externally, with exterior insulation using projected cork and lime coarse developed by local companies, the solar protections are made of larch wood (FSC) manufactured by local artisans. The ACS is produced thanks to a NUOS Aerothermal system with very low consumption and high performance. The ventilation of the homes is resolved using heat recovery that tempers the air thanks to community Aerothermal systems.
