One of the design’s unique selling points is its carefully selected diverse materials like stone, wood, cane, and glass.

Emerging from a client brief rooted in elegant minimalism, privacy, and timeless tropical-modern sensibilities, this residence is a poetic articulation of sculptural restraint and tactile richness. The architectural response to these layered requirements begins with clean, rectilinear forms arranged in horizontally stacked volumes, softened by a pitched tiled roof that references vernacular warmth. Stone-clad walls and muted earthy stucco textures ground the residence in its context, while wood accents and soft landscaping lend it an organic, lived-in character.

Interiors are bathed in natural light, filtered through skylights and lush foliage that blurs the boundaries between inside and out. A soaring double-height atrium allows light to cascade down stone and terrazzo surfaces, while custom pebble-inspired inlays anchor the floor in nature’s asymmetrical elegance.
Furniture here is not merely functional — it is collectible, bespoke, and sculptural. Stacked terracotta columns, floating staircases, and handcrafted seating pieces punctuate the spaces like art installations. The colour palette is restrained yet resonant — muted tones of taupe, warm greys, and off-whites interlace with the natural grain of wood and the raw finish of stone.

Matte surfaces reduce glare and evoke calm; wooden louvers animate facades with dappled light; and terrazzo-style flooring adds tactile intrigue without ornamental excess. Every material decision reflects the dual goals of serenity and sensory engagement.
