Pune-based Bosch that has its roots in Germany, called for a design brief with regional influences as the main ingredient. NCUBE design team outlined a design approach that uses industrial elements such as furniture made out of automobiles, that strikes a balance between a workplace that is functional as well as quirky.
The layout has a strong emphasis on colours, textures, material, and graphics. Visual interest is created with the use of Jaalis as a filter of light and privacy, and which accentuate the space with a neo-vernacular feeling of authenticity. The key work areas have a colourful baffle ceiling; its dexterous application combats acoustic problems and creates a mirage of colours that mirror the festivals of the city. Use of biophilia softens the space, helps in lowering stress levels and increase productivity.
The cafeteria and amphitheatre resonate positivity and encourage collaboration for larger team building activities. Seating options include chairs, barstools and the dramatic rickshaw seating and stepped seating in the amphitheatre.
