Bhupendra Kumar is an Architect and Interior designer. He is the Founding Director of Aeiforia Architects, a firm that specializes in Corporate Interiors and Architectural Consultation for industrial and residential projects. Ar. Bhupendra has completed his B. Arch, with specialization in interiors designing. He is a registered architect with Council of Architecture.
Coming from a modest background Ar. Bhupendra was always keen on winning and succeeding. This reflected from an early age in Navodaya Vidhyalay, to his receiving a gold medal at Jamia Millia for Post-Graduation in Building Services. Though he entered in this profession "By chance", he decided to become a true and committed architect on being challenged by one of his seniors, who advised him to quit and "run away before it was too late", because architecture isn't a course one can choose casually. Bhupendra's fighting spirit did not allow him to step back or give up, though he had other options too. He went on to graduate with Honors. This trend continued through his post-graduation where he received the Gold medal. He soon realized it was not chance but his destiny, and that he had a long way to go to achieve the peak.
As a step forward in this direction, Aeiforia Architects was started by Ar. Bhupendra & Pragya Tripathi with the motto- SWIFT, SHARP, RELIABLE. The firm believes that as professionals, it is their duty to understand their clients and provide them with a solution that is best and sometimes beyond what they had perceived. Ar. Bhupendra says, "Our USP counts on timely delivery of projects, with high standards of quality, within the committed budget."
Over a period of 5 years since their inception, they found that generally people in the society are unaware about how an architect is truly different from an engineer. Due to lack of awareness about this profession, or so called un-affordability of an Architect services, the firm noticed that a lot of money is being wasted. Hence Ar. Bhupendra decided to address this major issue and developed a vertical for training for Sustainable Practices and Interior Construction Technologies. To facilitate this further, he has also received training in solar and green interiors and is registered with IGBC. Ar. Bhupendra is now involved with MSME as a trainer across India.
His ultimate aim is to serve the under privileged. He is of the view that the houses and streets belong to them and that they should be beautiful and affordable.
