At Glass Walls, the muse of imagination by nature aesthetically collaborates with masterly improvisation and thus creates sheer poetry with the facades. The company ensures that its architectural facades set a distinct benchmark for inspirational design, cutting-edge engineering and exceptional value for money. Because of its refreshing and dynamic approaches, the company today has many firsts to its credits.

It is the first company in India to use Aluminium Solid Sheet as a cladding material on the entire residential building in Mumbai. The building known as Godrej Platinum Tower is unique in terms of its façade elements being the fire resistant.

Apart from this, Glass Wall Systems is the first to introduce Façade Lighting concept in the country. It recommends the best way to get an incredible look to a project through the use of light on facade. It makes the beautiful lighting effects adorning the facade of Mondeal Square, a G+11 twin tower commercial building in Ahmedabad. The company believes that once you combine the lighting with the exterior of a building, then the physical impact one make exceeds the expectations of even the most creatively minded artist.

Acetech Glass Wall

After the completion of the largest integrated lighting system into façade in India with Mondeal square project, the company is confident that the effective illumination of facades can turn a building into a real eye-catcher from far away. Lighting on facade accentuates the architecture and impressively emphasizes on building design. The high-contrast interplay between light and shadow increases overall vividness. Dynamic light effects reflect the identity and leave a lasting impression.

Internationally the number of buildings that have illuminated façades is increasing sharply because of architectural, social and technological changes. Lighting design is currently facing new challenges. Saving energy is an omnipresent challenge; façade lighting must therefore get to grips with ecological compatibility issues. All lighting entails increased expenditure on energy. Light that is not properly directed onto a façade is perceived as distracting and an unnecessary waste of light. The ultimate goal is obtaining the best possible efficiency from facade lighting.

Lighting on façade is designed through an algorithmic application that interacts with users and time. Glass Wall Systems designed different animations that play differently during the working week, the weekend and the different festivals celebrated in India. For the daily effects and along the five hours previewed for the night illumination, part of building's sun shades will shine periodically, for five minutes at each hour's start, like a precious stone's facets under the sunlight. For each hour's start there will be a different video animation that links it with its respective hour. This lighting design solution will allow a significant energy saving by a simple interplay between the on and off cycles. For a fresh start of the working week, on Sunday, a more agile and colourful play of shadow dance is designed. For special events, the building participates to the general celebration by changing its lighting scenario.

Glass Wall understands the interplay of structural form and lighting, and work with architects and Artistic lighting design consultants to provide original conceptual designs. Its technical knowledge and collaborative spirit to work with architect, facade consultant, lighting design consultant and lighting installers ensures that concepts become viable solutions. In lighting facades, it can bring together art, science and technology.

With Mondeal Square project in Ahmedabad, Glass Wall Systems have started a new era in façades in India with a bang.
