Founder, Metalia
A facade is more than just a building’s exterior: it offers the first glimpse of the space within, and is the first interaction that people have with the architecture.

Our bespoke metal facades are designed to enhance residential and commercial projects. We work with various materials such as aluminium fins, fluted metal panels, and three-dimensional parametric forms. From kinetic facades with dynamic panels that respond to environmental changes to parametric facades that merge artistic expression with engineering precision, our facades lend a distinct visual identity to buildings.

Our metal façades are high in durability and functionality; they combine weather resistance, low maintenance, and enhanced thermal efficiency. Our perforated panels add a dynamic interplay of light while allowing ventilation and louvred systems to optimise shading and privacy.

Case Study: Libas–A Landmark Facade

Libas is an Indian fashion brand that blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary designs and offers elegant ethnic and fusion wear for women. The brand wanted its store to do more than merely exist in a bustling Delhi market—it needed to garner the attention of the passersby. The brief was simple yet powerful: the facade itself should become an extension of the brand’s identity, ensuring brand recall from afar.

Libas is an Indian fashion brand

After extensive discussions with architects and the client, we designed a custom 3D metal panel facade integrated with the brand’s signature colours. In addition to durability and weather resistance, lighting was a key priority, hence each unit is illuminated to enhance visibility and create a striking presence at all hours.

The precisely angled 3D metal panels dynamically interact with both natural and artificial light, transforming the store’s visual identity. By day, shifting light patterns add depth and movement to the facade. By night, integrated backlighting enhances the play of light and shadow, making the store a standout feature in the market.

The strategic use of metal panels contributes to passive cooling and reduces heat absorption. As a result, it regulates interior temperatures—improving energy efficiency in this high-footfall commercial space.

The result is a facade that complements the store and reinforces its brand identity. We created a design that makes Libas a visual anchor in the marketplace and reflects the brand’s ethos.
