The school is located on Rath-Orai Highway on the outskirts of the city Rath, in the district of Hamirpur, UP. The 5-acre site is linear with 79m width facing the main road and approximately 300m wide and is E-W oriented longitudinally.

Since the building had to be built parallel to the main road, the east and west facade of the building is exposed to the sun. In order to reduce the heat gain, boxing has been provided by creating a double wall insulation in the façade, while the size of windows has been kept almost 15% of the room area and they are sunken in the boxed façade to reduce glare from the sun. Double glazed vacuum windows in the front façade reduce noise pollution from the main road.

The school campus has landscaped areas, a children's play area carefully segregated from the centrally located playfields for football, volleyball, basketball, tennis, running tracks etc. The main gate is designed at the central line of the school entrance and another gate on the N-E leads to the staff quarters. A fountain in front of the entrance adds liveliness. “The brief was to design a cheerful, comfortable and a vibrant environment for children – a school which they would love to come to every day," says Vishal Singh, Director, IVPS Group.

The C-shaped building has G+3 floors divided into 3 blocks comprising of 56 classrooms, labs, library, activity rooms, offices etc. The central courtyard acts as a multipurpose space with a stage and is covered with insulated sheeting. A raised staircase area and cantilevered RCC pergola create an interesting skyline. The pergolas cast a play of moving shadows on the wall as per the sun's path through the day. The boundary wall with evergreen trees acts as a barrier against external noise and pollution, while bringing visibility from the highway.

A combination of bright, cool and muted colours such as mustard, steel gray, red, white and blue bring vibrancy and cheerfulness to the environs, while maintaining the gravity of the campus. The blue coloured main gate complements the vibrant colors of the building and merges with the structural glazing used in the entrance lobby and the glass mosaic tiles in the columns of the porch.
