Tall Building Council for Delhi
Surprisingly, the city does not have a tall buildings code to ensure safety of tall structures. The role of the proposed Tall Building Council for Delhi will be to guide the city’s developers as they transit from low-rise to high rise buildings. The members of this council could include senior structural engineers with wind and earthquake design experience, senior architects, façade designers, senior geophysicists and green building experts.
