World of Kalzip Comes to India

Aluminium Roof
The Kalzip Business Unit is a part of the Distribution and Building Systems Division within Corus Group, now entering in Indian market (Mumbai, Hyderabad, Gujarat, Rajasthan Tamil Nadu etc), in a big way, with its latest projects continuing to open up new technical and aesthetic horizons.

Aluminum, the material of the future

Kalzip, the innovative world leader in aluminium roof and wall cladding systems, has been setting standards for more than three decades. The low weight, malleability and durability of the aluminium have made it a leading product that also lends itself to the creation of unusual architectural forms.

Variety

Kalzip sheets can be used for both ventilated and non ventilated roofs as well as for any roof shape or down to a minimum pitch of 1.5 degree.

Structure

Kalzip sheets are unique in that they may be combined with any kind of support or substructure.

Insulation

Kalzip can be easily configured to provide the highest levels of thermal insulation. The thickness of the insulation can be perfectly adapted to the building through Corus steel products.

Lightweight, fast to install

Kalzip’s speed of construction offers an ideal solution for both new-build and refurbishment, providing a lightweight alternative for over roofing or refurbishment of existing roofs. The new Kalzip liner roof system, which consists of a Kalzip standing seam outer sheet, Kalzip insulation, Kalzip vapour control layer and Kalzip liner sheet, is the ideal choice for projects where speed of installation is vital.

Acoustic performance

Wall cladding Solutions
The system can be modified to accommodate any acoustic performance requirements by incorporating other layers such as high density insulation, boards and flexible membranes to reduce sound and by perforating the liner to provide increased sound absorption performance.

Proven track record

Kalzip was first launched onto the market in 1968. Since then over 70 million square metres of Kalzip standing seam profiled sheets have been fitted to roofs and facades the world around.

Applications

The main applications for Kalzip roof systems are insulated roof structures supported by trapezoidal steel, timber linings, purling or concrete elements. There are virtually no limits to the application areas for Kalzip. Key architects rely on Kalzip as a high-quality construction product, and use it on highly innovative buildings.

Architects from around the world regard Kalzip as a performance-proven roof and wall cladding solution, in particular, for its immense design potential.
