What specialized products do you offer?
Our extensive range of tiles blend design, technology, and sustainability. They are produced at our manufacturing facility in Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh. Our Glazed Vitrified Tiles are available in a variety of sizes, from the smallest 75x300 mm to the largest 1600x3200 mm. The tiles come in squares, rectangles, and hexagons, and feature various textures like cement, marble, wood, and stone, in different colors, and with polished, matte, and carved finishes. Our specialized technical products include anti-microbial tiles, cool roof solutions, TACT tiles, as well as steps and risers. Regency Ceramics has partnered with Microban - a global leader in anti-bacterial additives and odor control solutions to create India’s first anti-bacterial tiles. The technology is built into the manufacturing process, which provides the tiles with a continuous level of protection from the growth of common microbes and thereby improve the cleanliness of food contact environments such as restaurants, cafeterias, and healthcare environments where tiles are subject to frequent harsh cleaning regimens.
With a design-led approach, Regency’s focus is to enhance the built environment in terms of design, safety, and sustainability, and give architects and designers an incredible number of options.

What initiative is the company taking to create eco-friendly and sustainable products?
Regency is investing in advanced technologies that enhance energy efficiency during the production of our tiles. To save energy, we have installed equipment like capacitor banks, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and transparent roofing sheets at our manufacturing plant. The company regularly compares its energy use with national and international standards for tile manufacturers. The company closely monitors and works to reduce carbon dioxide emissions at its production facilities to lower its environmental impact. It has set up rainwater harvesting systems and optimizes the use of water in production. We have also installed dry squaring machines to reduce water usage in areas that typically consume a lot of water, and are making a strong effort to reduce waste and use eco-friendly materials wherever possible.
To reduce the environmental impact of transportation, Regency sources most of its raw and packaging materials from nearby suppliers. The company has created green areas around its manufacturing plant and continues to support local environmental efforts by planting trees and providing services to help increase greenery in nearby areas.
How sustainable are your manufacturing processes, including recycling and reuse practices?

With a renewed focus on sustainability, Regency is working to reduce its carbon footprint at every stage— from raw materials to production to delivery. We use recycled materials and recyclable packaging and are working towards zero plastic in our operations. We’re also focused on reducing paper use, and we are testing water-based inks to replace organic solvents; thus reducing the inks’ carbon footprint and level of toxicity.
What demand are you seeing for such products?
The eco-friendly tiles market is expected to grow from USD 8.84 billion in 2024 to USD 19.06 billion by 2032, with a CAGR of 10.08%. This growth is driven by both the environmental benefits of these tiles and an increasing awareness among consumers about the need to protect the environment. In India, there is a growing preference for locally made tiles, and more consumers are open to sustainable construction alternatives. Manufacturers now have a responsibility to offer products that combine eco-friendly practices with attractive design. The construction industry in India is a major consumer of energy and natural resources, which has led to a greater demand for green buildings that focus on energy efficiency, sustainability, and eco-friendliness. This shift has encouraged the use of eco-friendly tiles, made from recycled materials, renewable resources, and designed to be durable.
Aligned with the Indian government’s ‘Green India Mission’, Regency Ceramics is committed to investing in research and development to create innovative eco-friendly products. We are excited to work with architects, builders, and homeowners to provide cutting-edge solutions that offer both great design and long-lasting durability.
