The meeting brought together stakeholders from across the sector, including representatives from the elevator industry, elevator consultants, electrical equipment manufacturers, Delhi Metro, fire safety experts, construction industry, building management service providers, NITI Aayog, DPIIT, MoHUA, CEA and Director, Startup India.
The purpose of the Task Force meeting was “to prepare a roadmap for advancing policy reforms, regulatory harmonisation, innovation, safety, sustainability, manufacturing competitiveness and ease of doing business across the sector”.
All the issues were discussed at length and a roadmap for the industry was prepared.
