“Our vision is to create spaces that nurture sustainability, community, and holistic well-being, which can be achieved through technological innovation and grassroots engagement.
Hiloni Sutaria

Architecture in India is embracing sustainable and eco-friendly practices through the use of locally sourced, recycled materials like terracotta, bamboo, and rammed earth. There’s a growing trend toward climate-responsive design, incorporating passive cooling, natural ventilation, and green roofs to combat extreme weather. Net-zero energy buildings are gaining momentum, driven by rising awareness and government incentives. Interior spaces are adopting VOC-free paints, upcycled furniture, and antimicrobial surfaces to ensure health and sustainability. The global design landscape emphasizes eco-friendly materials, human-centric spaces, and the intricate balance between aesthetics and sustainability, triggered by integrating technology and ensuring grassroots sustainability, all of which resonate deeply with our work.

Architecture in India

At HSC Designs, we are redefining sustainable and community-focused architecture through innovative projects. In our Qure project, for instance, the sinuous curved brick façade, crafted from load-bearing terracotta bricks, represents a perfect blend of function and aesthetic. Designed with climate-responsive calculations, the façade provides extra usable space while offering panoramic views. By addressing challenges such as city permissions and material efficiency, we developed a re-usable scaffolding system, reducing waste and ensuring cost-effectiveness. It’s an IGBC Gold-certified building with a commitment to sustainability. Similarly, Valanko ni Ramat exemplifies sustainable play design, combining recycled materials, biophilic elements, and Montessori-inspired zones.
