Multicolor Steels is all set to take its market goodwill to the next level at Roof India 2014. The company provides turnkey solutions from conceptualization to designing, manufacturing, and erection of pre-engineered metal buildings, portable buildings, and components such as roofing, wall cladding, floor decking, and sandwich panels.

Although the player's entire bouquet of offerings will be showcased at the event, it's the designer PEB vertical which Multicolor will promote with utmost keenness. Mr. Rajesh Gupta, the company's Founder & Managing Director, informs, "We offer these PEBs under the brand Multi Star, and when we say designer PEBs, it means that we are giving various types of roofing profiles, which help to design the buildings according to the individual needs and requirements. The buildings can later be expanded to fit the needs, and can be dismantled and relocated easily."

He continues, "Our other USPs include variety of roofing and wall claddings, thermal and acoustic insulation, mezzanine floors, compatibility to cranes beams and integrated accessories. Moreover, the entire time span, right from conceptualization to actual erection of the building is minimal as we have the requisite expertise backed by robust R&D and skilled manpower which enables us to ensure best quality and workmanship."

Well, a perfect example of these PEBs is Multicolor's self-designed and constructed manufacturing facility at Bawal, Haryana. Delving into the details, Mr. Gupta states, "The building is equipped with all our offerings such as latest roof and wall profiles, PEB System, Deck Floors, Sandwich Panels, screwless roof, aesthetic & wall fascia, natural light system, and natural ventilation system. We invite clients to the plant so that they can get a touch and feel experience of what we can offer, and this helps them in making informed decisions."

Multicolor Designer PEB
According to him, Roof India will provide a good platform not only to interact with existing clients but also establish new ones. "We want to spread the message that Multicolor's motto is top quality backed by lifelong warranty. This is indicative from the fact that over the years we have received numerous repeat orders from our customers. We initially started as a roofing player, and the manner in which we have grown is all due to our relentless focus on customer satisfaction." He says that one of Multicolor's success mantra is to refrain from subletting. "We have 300 engineers and supervisors who are methodically trained to execute work."

Despite all these achievements and ever emerging prospects, it can't be denied that infrastructure and construction has taken a downturn during the past couple of years or so. How's Multicolor gearing up for this challenge? "Demand," he opines, "is very much there and the market is also growing. We just need stability from the government and correct implementation of policy and framework. Had there been slowdown to such an extreme level, as it's often portrayed, why would so many foreign companies set foot on Indian turf? It's just a transient phase which will pass on."

Well, the company is now planning to launch roof top solar systems in the coming months. "Although it's a bit early to divulge the details, but we will soon give solar ready buildings to the market." he concluded.
