How has Haworth grown its presence in the Indian market?

Henning Figge: Haworth has witnessed robust growth in the Indian market in recent years. It is setting up its second factory in Sriperumbudur at an investment of $8 - $10 million. It will be double the space of our current plant, totalling 113,000 sq. ft. We recently inaugurated a brand-new and our largest 26,000 sq. ft. showroom in Chennai.

Haworth has further expanded its presence in India with the setting up of its first dealer showroom in Pune in partnership with Matrix Workspace Solutions, underscoring our aim to strengthen our presence in India and the broader Asia Pacific region. The decision to expand our operations in Pune stems from our commitment to meeting the growing demands of our customers and seizing new opportunities in the region.

Papun Sen Choudhury: Haworth has marked its presence in the Indian market since 1997 with its high-grade office furniture. With the expansion of Grade A spaces across India, we expect to increase our business in emerging markets in the country. We are exploring new markets and have onboarded new dealers in Delhi NCR and Ahmedabad. The company continues to bag orders from leading organizations, government entities, and the education sector. We aim to have a double-digit growth in 2024 in line with expansions across India and plan to set up 10 showrooms by 2026.
