What is your overview of developments, promotion, and application of pre-engineered building systems in India?
In India, PEBs have brought the revolutionary growth in construction industry. The usage of PEBs in remote areas has changed the rural lives and converted those areas into towns. Owing to the growing industrialization and urbanization, several multi-storey structures have also come up in recent times. PEBs are gaining popularity as they are cost-effective, time-saving, and environment-friendly. The conventional structural steel building takes 6 months to complete, whereas the pre-engineered building takes hardly 2 months which is one third of constructing conventional structural steel building. By the time one conventional structural steel building gets constructed, we have 3 Pre-engineered Steel Buildings ready with us. With PEBs development is very fast. I must say PEBs should be encouraged in India in every field of construction.

Please tell us about PM IMPEX manufacturing facilities and its in-house engineering capabilities in doing turnkey jobs in design, engineering and commissioning of various types of metal buildings including providing roof and wall cladding and covering profiles for pre-engineered buildings to suit custom requirements.
We use latest machines with latest technology like robotic welding, saw welding etc. PM IMPEX manufacturing facilities are designed with economy and flexibility as top priorities. These buildings have been designed to provide more profit producing space. Our steel manufacturing facilities may be customized to fit needs and are easily expanded to accommodate future growth. We have a team of dedicated Architects, Civil Engineers and Marketing Professionals. Technology center is dedicated to designing and mold developing as per customer needs by outsourcing in India or from abroad. Reverse Engineering is done as per customer's needs.
Can you please enumerate some of the important projects executed by your company? What are the new projects in hand?
We have done numerous projects till now, some of the major projects executed by our company are: NTPC LTD. (NOIDA), RISHAB PLASTIC P.LTD, BYGGING INDIA LTD, ASHOKA DISTILLERS & CHEMICAL P. LTD, BRINDAVAN BEVERAGES P. LTD (70,000 sqft competed in 4 months), NPCL LTD. (NOIDA), SPONTE INDIA MURADABAD, WINTEX TISSUE, RC&M EXPERIENTIAL MARKETING (35,000 sqft completed in 3 months) etc. Projects currently we have in our hands are GVS Metals Greater Noida (75, 000 sqft), Aarman Contractor (35,000 sqft) etc.
What are the quality standards and softwares being used by your company while designing and manufacturing buildings?
At PM IMPEX, buildings are supplied with high quality paint systems for cladding and steel to suit ambient conditions at site, which results in long durability and low maintenance costs.Quality control is done by the profile manufacturers with surprise visits to installation sites and factory to see if the quality objectives of the profile manufacturer are followed and met. This ensures that best quality standards are maintained during fabrication and installation. Each product at PM Impex undergoes multiple quality checks during design and development, involving people from every department, to produce high quality product that must deliver satisfactory result. Pre-engineered Buildings are manufactured and erected in accordance with all the Indian and international standards and codes such as IS800 (draft), International Building Code, Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA), American Institute of Steel Construction, Inc. (AISC), American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), American Welding Society (AWS D.1.1.04). We at PM Impex, follow these quality standards to produce high quality product. For designing we use STAADPRO and AUTOCAD.
What has been the business performance of your company during the last two years and how do you see company future taking into consideration the emerging opportunities in the wake of present focus on infrastructure development?
In the last two years, the growth of our company was tremendous. The company has grown by more than 50% per year and is expected to maintain consistent growth rate over the next 3-4 years. We are confident enough of achieving our goals and growth plans as PM Impex being in the top 10 positions in the market, has number of major projects in hand and has a legacy of scaling the possibilities and horizon of PEB applications. In the next 3-4 years, we are looking forward to own 2 more manufacturing units and to increase our no. of clients.
