Acceptance by Indian consumers has encouraged European system providers to bring in the most recent and modern fenestration products, says Ankit Pandey, Business Manager, Euradif India



In India, door and window systems from Europe date more than 10 years now, and in recent years, the acceptance amongst buyers in India has grown even more. The success of European system providers and fabricators tells us that there is an increasing orientation of Indian buyers towards more ecological and modern doors and windows.

I think it is only wise to reach out to ecological products like uPVC and aluminium. The challenge in India is that the consumer cannot differentiate between two similar looking products, and since in India, doors and windows are not standardized, it makes similar looking products competitive on price but not on quality.

Volume selling of extremely low quality products in India is being practiced on the basis of very cheap pricing. This actually damages the reputation of the material/product, and also, it is not what consumers expect when they see the company's product brochures. India is developing fast, whoever wants to be active in this fast paced developing economy, needs to provide products to the New Age Indian consumers that are tested on quality and are rich in aesthetics.

We don't have any competition since our products are the only one of their kind in the Indian market! However, I appreciate competition as it gives buyers a chance for making a fair judgement. We have our strategies in place for competition too, but where is it? We have been coming to India for the past two years now, and we do everything by ourselves, which makes us confident of beating any competition. We do volume business and we sell what we believe in. "I use the same door that I sell". This is not the case with many other brands. Our door does not come with a price tag but with the tagline "One price for one quality".

Since a door reflects the image of a home and subsequently of the people who live in it, it has to be the best and that is what we strive to achieve. We are achieving it fairly in France and we are sure of the same in India.

As of today, we take pride in saying that we have established ties with India's biggest and most trusted system providers and fabricators that include both Indian and International companies. We have reached the address books of a huge Indian database. Our products are exhibited during exhibitions and many important architects in India also recommend our brand name and value to their clients.
