Kirby India Opens New Centre of Engineering Excellence in Hyderabad

Kirby Building Systems & Structures India Pvt Ltd (Kirby), a flagship company of Alghanim Industries, Kuwait, has inaugurated its new Centre of Engineering Excellence in Hyderabad, Telangana. This state-of-the-art facility, with a seating capacity of over 550 professionals, will function as the corporate office housing sales, marketing, and engineering functions. Spanning over 40,000 sq ft, the new engineering centre is a modern, collaborative workspace aligned with Kirby’s immediate growth plans and future expansion in India and overseas markets. More than 400 structural designers and detailers will operate from this hub, using advanced design and drafting software, including MBS, STAAD.Pro, Bocad, ETABS, Tekla, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Smartest, and more.


The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Mahmoud Samara, CEO – Alghanim Industries, along with Mr. Dirk Kahl, CFO, Mr. Jesper Berg, CHRO, Mr. D. Raju, Head – Kirby International, and Mr. P. V. Mohan, CEO – Kirby India, as well as other senior leadership members and engineering teams from Kirby India. During the visit, the Alghanim leadership team engaged with Kirby India’s senior functional heads to discuss the company’s growth strategy, leadership position in the Indian market, and approaches to address emerging challenges in a highly competitive landscape. The visit also included tours of Kirby’s Hyderabad and Halol manufacturing facilities, with briefings on ongoing Kaizen initiatives.

This Centre of Excellence strengthens Kirby’s pioneering and market-leading position in India for over 25 years, building on its nearly five decades of global expertise in the steel construction industry. It represents a significant step in Kirby’s focus on innovation, engineering excellence, and delivering customer-centric, sustainable solutions using multiple international design codes.
