Space Matrix organized ExChange – Experience-Change, a first-of-its-kind event to explore the workplaces of today and tomorrow by creating a broader set of dimensions for the design of the work environment alongside exploring and experiencing a revolutionary open-innovation ecosystem where one can experiment, explore and evolve to #maketheworldabetterplacetowork.
The event was hosted at Space Matrix BetaLab in Gurgaon and brought together key influencers, industry champions, and thought leaders from the company’s clientele comprising major multinationals, startups, investors, VC companies, unicorns etc.
Space matters and workspaces have the power to influence and enhance the wellness and productivity of employees. Space Matrix’s ExChange - Experience|Change offered business leaders and workspace decision makers an opportunity to firsthand experience how the various microenvironments created within Betalab can bring out the best in people, help balance the physical, cultural, social and technological priorities and nudge people to do their best.
Arsh Chaudhry, CEO, Space Matrix, said, “We are in an era of employee-centric working, and the pandemic has expedited the need to transform workspaces and accelerated existing future of work trends entailing broader human and emotional dimensions. Across industries, leaders will use the lessons from this large-scale work-from-home experiment to reimagine how work is done—and what role offices should play— thinking ten times faster, bigger and bolder. A well-planned return to office can use this time as an opportunity to redesign their role and create greater experiences for talent, improve collaboration and productivity, and reduce costs. That kind of change will need transformational thinking substantiated by facts. Conclusively, the aim of this reinvention will be what employee centric companies have always wanted: a safe environment where people can collaborate with their colleagues, enjoy their work and achieve the objectives of their organizations.
Akshay Lakhanpal, CEO India, Space Matrix, informed, “At Space Matrix, we have constantly focused on optimizing workspaces from the organization as well as peoples’ perspective while disrupting workplace norms and accelerating trends for more human-centered approaches that can help organizations to emerge stronger specially after the pandemic. Today, the role of design is changing to address the new needs that organizations face, it is all about putting people-first and letting them choose the ambience, facilities and tools they need to deliver their best. The workplace is an organization’s operating system and can be a compelling differentiator. The more the workplace is connected in a thoughtful way to the organizational strategies, models, functional structures, and potential outcomes of a company, the stronger the workplace will transpire. When the workspace environment offers safety, security and peace of mind, employees can connect better with it and remain self-motivated.”
