Tier-2 cities are becoming India’s most exciting growth centres. As families invest in larger homes and developers create new gated communities, the demand for high-quality lifts, especially home lifts and low-rise passenger lifts, is rising rapidly. At YugX, we see Tier-2 India not as a secondary market but as the true design frontier where modern architecture meets rising aspirations.

What we see in cities like Vadodara, Indore, Jaipur, Coimbatore, Lucknow, Nagpur, and Kochi mirrors what happened in Spain and Italy in the early 2000s—well-designed homes adopting lifts not as a utility but as part of the architectural expression.

In the next five years, we believe that a large part of India’s premium lift demand, especially architect-driven home lifts, will come from Tier-2 cities.

Partnering with MP Lifts of Spain gives us a unique advantage.

MP elevators offer the comfort and reliability of European engineering while being adaptable to Indian home sizes, power conditions, and building practices. As an official distributor of MP Lifts of Spain, we are offering European engineered lifts with modular installation, and connected maintenance, to bring long-term value to homes.

MP has a 40+ year engineering heritage. Their design language, modular car interiors, and European build quality allow Tier-2 customers to access an international product that was previously unavailable or unaffordable in India.

Our strategy is simple: bring European engineering, adapt intelligently to Indian conditions, and eliminate long-term ownership frustrations. Our collaboration allows us to optimise pricing through factory-direct distribution, standardized configurations for India, and efficient local project execution. Customers get a world-class lift without the inflated costs often associated with imported products.

Indian homes often have masonry shafts instead of steel structures, limited pit depth, or unique architectural constraints. MP’s modular engineering, especially in the FLEX and GO ranges, allows us to design for compact shafts, limited overhead, Indian load patterns, DG and inverter compatibility, and seismic zones in North and Northeast India. MP’s car designs are modular and can be adapted to suit Indian interiors, whether contemporary, minimalist, or luxury.

YugX Lifts

With MP × YugX, every lift is part of a connected ecosystem designed for safety and convenience.

All our elevators come with a built-in GSM emergency intercom, ensuring that even if a passenger is stuck, they can immediately connect with our support team — without depending on Wi-Fi or landlines. Because the lifts are internet-connected, our engineers can see faults in real time and often reset the system remotely, allowing safe evacuation without waiting for a technician to arrive.

This is backed by MP’s Connected Maintenance platform with predictive diagnostics, standardized MP spare-parts supply, trained engineering teams, and a growing Tier-2 service partner network. This ensures long-term reliability and safety.

Architects are the most influential decision-makers for home and boutique commercial lifts.

The MP × YugX partnership gives architects the confidence of European engineering paired with local infrastructure, shorter installation timelines, and reliable after-sales support. Our marketing strategy focuses on architect insights, engagement, and collaboration, including BIS-compliant home lift guides, detailed integration drawings and BOQs, MP × YugX design sample boards, visits, workshops, and CPD-style sessions. We are also creating an Architect Desk for faster design support and specification assistance.

MP’s global design catalogue offers something unique in the Indian market. These include signature European interiors with premium materials; minimalist modern lines; full glass cabins for villas and premium spaces; modular customization with options like metal, stone, veneers, backlit panels, and architectural lighting. This breadth of design options allows architects to integrate lifts as a visual feature, not an afterthought.

We have numerous current projects in Tier-2 cities and upcoming orders.

Although our launch is recent, Tier 2 cities have shown strong interest after the partnership announcement. Our current installations and projects include premium villas and duplex homes in Vadodara; boutique redevelopment projects in Gujarat; mid-rise commercial buildings adopting MP MRL systems; and healthcare and diagnostic centers seeking European-grade reliability.

We are receiving new home-lift enquiries from architects in Surat, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Indore, Jaipur, and Nagpur. Multiple regional elevator firms have also approached us for partnership discussions to carry the MP range in their local markets.
