Berger Paints to set up a Plant in Russia

Berger Paints recently inked an MoU with the government of Stavropol Region, Russian Fedreation, for setting an industrial coating plant in the region. The initial capacity of the proposed plant will be 3,000 tonnes a year, which will be scaled up to almost 50,000 tonnes a year. Around $5 million will be invested to set up this plant, said KS Dhingra, chairman, Berger Paints. Russia is a growing market and we plan to cater to the demand of the industry, he added.
