Koelnmesse India has announced the launch of ORGATEC India, a landmark event focusing on workspace design, furniture, and technology. The highlight of the announcement was the collaboration of Institute of Interior Designers (IIID) with ORGATEC India to bring a world-class exhibition experience to India by leveraging 10,000 members and 35 chapters across India to support their endeavor for modern office and facility management.
Scheduled to debut from November 4th–6th, 2025, at the Jio Convention Centre, Mumbai, ORGATEC India will bring together global and local leaders to explore business opportunities, foster connections, and showcase innovations shaping the future of workspaces. Exhibitors will include companies showcasing innovative solutions in Smart Facility Technology, Office Furniture, Fixtures, Equipment and Supplies, Workplace Automation, and Co-working Space Designs.
ORGATEC India highlights transformative innovations in workplace design, including sustainable building technologies, adaptive workspaces, and advanced design solutions. With Global Capability Centers (GCCs) reshaping the office landscape, it’s projected that GCCs will lease 40-45% of total office space in India this year, expanding to over 1,900 centers supporting 2 million professionals by 2025.
Hemant Sud of IIID said, “This partnership is poised to be a game-changer for the Indian interior design industry. With India’s growing economy making it a prime target for international exhibitions, we warmly welcome ORGATEC to India and look forward to supporting them.”
Ar. Vijay Garg, Council of Architecture, said, “With over 1,80,000 architects in India, we recognize the significance of this event in promoting sustainability and supporting the architecture fraternity. We look forward to welcoming the architect exhibition to India and anticipate a positive impact on the industry, particularly in promoting sustainable products.”
Preeti Singh, Additional Director General, NAREDCO, stated, “We are excited to collaborate with ORGATEC India, whose innovative solutions will provide a holistic overview of architecture and interior solutions, aligning with our goals and vision for a sustainable future.”
Oliver Frese, COO, Koelnmesse GmbH, said, “This flagship event aims to set new benchmarks in workplace design, innovation, and sustainability, creating an unparalleled platform for collaboration, inspiration, and growth within the industry, by bringing the best global solutions to the Indian market.”
Milind Dixit, MD, Koelnmesse, said, “India’s corporate sector is undergoing transformative growth, driven by multinational corporations, co-working spaces, and the increasing demand for smart, energy-efficient workplaces. With the Indian office furniture market valued at $5.2 billion in 2023 and projected to double by 2032, the focus on collaborative and adaptable solutions like ergonomic chairs and open-plan layouts has never been stronger. As the foremost trade fair for workplace innovation, ORGATEC India will present innovative products, services, and technologies that define the future of modern workplaces and facility management.”
