Aranyakaa Farms has launched their latest sustainable farmland project H2O – Harvesting a Brighter Tomorrow. Spanning 61 acres, it is located at Beragai near Bangalore, and is aimed at addressing the city’s growing water shortage through innovative water conservation measures. Following Bangalore’s serious water crisis in March 2024, H2O was proposed as a solution to the city’s long-term water supply problems and is based on the belief that the next 15 years are crucial for Bangalore to become entirely water- sufficient.

The H2O project features advanced water preservation techniques, including the installation of 20-30 rainwater harvesting recharge pits to replenish underground water sources. It also incorporates recharging wells for deep water infiltration and man-made lakes for above-ground water storage. The project is characterized by a two and a half-acre man-made lake, which contributes to the conservation of local Hydrosphere while maintaining the Water Table, making H2O a reference point in environment friendly water management that covers both subsurface and surface needs.

“Our H2O initiative will have a far-reaching impact on the wellbeing of the community and environment as it incorporates innovative methods for conserving water,” said Amit Porwal, Director, Aranyakaa Farms.

The program will also incorporate various sustainable designs that promote eco-friendly lifestyles and community involvement. There will be a Clubhouse spread across 4 acres and constructed using green architecture principles; a Gaushala for organic farming; a Biopool providing natural swimming experience; and a Temple for spiritual bonding in society.

The project is located in the Hosur Economic Corridor (HEC), which will soon have an Airport, Industrial and Technology Parks, and better connectivity due to the development of the STRR, PRR and Metro Rails, which will also give long-term appreciation for the land. Nearby attractions include Krishnagiri Fort, Hogenakkal Falls, and Shoolagiri Hills.
