Dubai is reaching for the sky once again, as it gets a new tower taller than Burj Khalifa. Emar Properties, the developer of this project hopes the new tower will entice a 'fresh wave of view' seeking home-owners even as it raises numerous other promised skyscrapers. The company told that the tower would be a notch higher than the 2,717 foot Burj Khalifa. The new $1 billion tower will not be traditional skyscraper but more than a cable supported spire containing garden, observation decks grace with trees and other greenery. The new Dubai tower will be the center piece of a new 6 square -kilometres development area on the edge of the Dubai Creek., said the developer.
