Germany-based global furniture fitting brand–Hettich- recently announced its plans to invest Rs.500cr in India over the next 4-5 years. We are also looking at India as a manufacturing destination with a huge talent pool to manage complex engineering and production processes, said company's global CEO Andreas Hettich. The company has set up a manufacturing plant in Gujarat, which will serve customers in South and West Asia. This is company's second largest subsidiary through Hettich India. In a year's time, we will initially begin exporting 50,000 units per annum, he added.
