Hyderabad, now ranked among the world’s top 10 fastest-growing millionaire cities, is rapidly emerging as a magnet for corporate real estate investments. With over 150 million sq. ft. of office stock expected by the end of 2025, the city is witnessing strong growth across Healthcare, Pharma, GCC, and IT-BPM sectors—driving demand for future-ready, premium office spaces.
Henning Figge, President, Haworth International, said: “This showroom marks our deepened commitment to India and particularly to fast-growing cities like Hyderabad. With its smart design, ergonomic focus, and sustainability-first approach, this space reflects our belief that the right environment can enhance well-being and productivity. It’s not just a showroom—it’s a vision for the workplace of the future.”

Praveen Rawal, Vice President Sales, Haworth APAC, added: “We selected this location with care—it offers the perfect intersection of urban connectivity, sustainable architecture, and design-consciousness. The space has been curated to engage both corporate and personal stakeholders through immersive displays and collaborative zones that bring Haworth’s global design ethos to life.”
Manish Khandelwal, Managing Director, Haworth India, said: “This new experience centre in Hyderabad is a testament to the momentum we’re seeing in India’s premium workspace segment. Clients today are seeking more than just furniture; they want spaces that inspire creativity, reflect brand values, and support employee well-being. Our focus is to deliver exactly that, and this launch is a significant step forward in that journey.”
The Hyderabad showroom is housed within the Grade-A, IGBC pre-certified ‘Gold’ green building, Gowra Palladium. Equipped with energy-efficient systems, modern infrastructure, high-speed elevators, and 24x7 surveillance, the building aligns seamlessly with Haworth’s Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) principles. The showroom itself incorporates natural lighting, sustainable materials, and zoning strategies to ensure a superior visiting experience.

As part of its broader India vision, Haworth plans to expand to 10 showrooms across the country by 2026. The Hyderabad showroom will also function as a collaborative innovation hub where clients, designers, and architects can explore next-gen workspace concepts, test ergonomic furniture, and experience premium lifestyle offerings.
With Hyderabad accounting for nearly 15% of India’s office space and over 18% of the country’s green-certified stock, Haworth’s expansion is well-aligned with customer needs in this dynamic urban landscape.

Haworth has been present in India since 1997 and continues to strengthen its presence in the region. Its Chennai-based manufacturing plant plays a pivotal role in producing key Haworth products for both domestic and export markets, including North America and Europe. In 2023, Haworth inaugurated a 26,000 sq. ft. Global Shared Services Centre (SSC) in Chennai, as part of its best shoring initiative. The SSC plays a key role in Haworth’s international operations and reflects the company’s continued investment in India. To further expand its manufacturing footprint, Haworth is setting up a second state-of-the-art factory in Sriperumbudur, doubling its current plant size to 113,000 sq. ft. This expansion underlines Haworth’s commitment to meeting the growing market demand across India and the APAC region. Today, Haworth operates seven showrooms, including two dealer-run experience centres in India, and employs over 300 professionals nationwide.
