RBL Bank’s new office spread across 75,000 sq.ft, has received the Platinum - Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) Green Interiors certification. Apart from several interesting features, 50% of the office receives natural daylight throughout the operational hours, leading to significant power saving. It is also expected to reduce water consumption by 50%. The office space has been designed based on the theme of seasons giving it a very colorful and vibrant feel. The uniquely designed workspace offers an interactive and enjoyable work environment to 1,200 employees. Commented Pankaj Sharma, Chief Operations Officer, “We are happy to have opened this healthy and interactive office for our employees and our extremely pleased to have received the high rating of Platinum IGBC GREEN Certification. More than 30% of area in this office is used as circulation space to encourage employee movement, resulting in health benefits for them. Apart from providing a swanky new workspace the green interior design also involves energy saving, water efficiency, fighting air pollution and conserving of resources.”
