Since 1997, several traditional and contemporary tile profiles have been offered by Monier in India.
Latest innovation in Energy Efficiency being Monier's CoolRoof®, which is the first of its kind system, which is a combination of under-the-tile heat reflective insulation underlay and ventilated eaves and ridges to reduce the temperature entering inside the building envelope through the roof. For customers, it means a reduction up to 60% on AC consumption and up to 30% reduction in electricity expenses.
The translucent tiles made of UV resistant material, for instance, permit up to 95% of natural light, which is equivalent to having a 75W bulb installed.
Other recent innovation is Monier Rainshield, which is a specific and newly launched under-the-tile water proofing underlay that's a cost efficient alternate to conventional method such as chemical waterproofing.
Monier, in its portfolio, also has a wide range of innovative roofing system components that improve the overall functionality and performance of the roof.
