A collaboration between Gorlini and Ponzio, ApexFine combines German technology with Italian design to create minimalist doors and windows in aluminium and glass that maximize visibility and minimize the obstructing frame. The system features invisible wings and frames and a mere ¾ inch middle joint. The result is a system that allows an unobstructed panoramic view of the external environment.
The doors and windows are made of high performing aluminium and glulam timber, sourced from certified forests, and can be fir, oak, teak, cedar, larch ash, etc, and toughened stratified glass, burglar-proof hardware and concealed hinges. The end-result is a smooth, unblemished fenestration due to glazing beads with invisible nails/screws fixed with glassblock invisible system. Features include an Allwood dripstone to manage rainwater.
The ApexFine system is available in both motorized and manual versions with many finishes to match the interior décor. It is a quiet and fluid system that can accommodate a wide range of structural necessities. As regards logistics and installation at site, our in-house team takes care of the installation, which generally takes 1-3 days, depending on the project.
