Typology: Commercial project
Area: 45000 sq ft
The space has a quirky feel brought alive by accent pieces of furniture and lighting elements. Each staff floor has a vibrant design with a youthful colour scheme, which also serves to identify the meeting rooms and zones in the open plan space of the office. Large glass partitions bring a sense of spaciousness and transparency that help make walk-in clients feel at ease and imbibe confidence in the brand. The open desking system makes the space interactive, efficient and more productive.
Monochromatic tones of white and grey in ceiling, flooring, walls and furniture, and modest use of orange in chair backs, tabletops, and glass panelling add vibrancy to the interiors. Alternate panels of wood finish and brown tinted glass define the passage and camouflage the doors.
A knowledge centre opens to the larger community space for staff to socialize and hold community events. The basement holds a cafeteria for the staff. The reception area reflects the company’s inclusive culture and positive approach. Rainwater from the rooftop of the building and the surface runoff is collected in a storage tank and used for flushing toilets and watering plants.
This project was our first experience wherein we came in as architects and interior designers to holistically design the entire building including its interiors and exteriors - all within a time frame of 11 months
