Duravit AG Bathrooms
The very first day of ISH, the world's largest trade fair for sanitary ware, heating, and air-conditioning technology, marked Duravit AG's massive sell of approximately 20,000 bathrooms for one of the largest development firms' project in India, Magarpatta Township Development and Construction Co. Ltd.

Magarpatta Development has achieved international recognition, thanks to its visionary Magarpatta City project, a modern residential complex in India designed for sustainable and ecological living. Magarpatta Development is currently developing two additional projects modelled on this complex, Nanded City and River View City, on the outskirts of the metropolis of Pune. Incorporating 235 local families, some 35,316 apartments and two schools will be built on an area of over 284 hectares during the first construction phase.

Duravit India, the local branch of Duravit AG, has been involved in the project right from the start. As a local manufacturer with its own factory in Tarapur (Gujarat), the company will be supplying toilets and washbasins for the approx. 20,000 bathrooms that are to be built as part of this project. The Starck 3 range by Philippe Starck and the D-Code range will be fitted.

Discussions regarding subsequent phases of the project are already being conducted at the ISH, where Duravit also presented three new design ranges, including the Luv collection by Cecilie Manz.
