Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), the global certification body for the LEED green building program and Philips Lighting India Limited recently announced collaboration dedicated to advancing sustainability and human health within the built environment in India. The collaboration will include knowledge sharing, professional education and continued localization of green building strategies that include lighting design and lighting systems.

Two key elements of the partnership include capability building for architects, consultants, designers, builders, and end-users as well as support to GBCI in additional localization of green building certification systems.
