Brancley Impex, an established name in aluminium ladders and home-use products such as ironing boards, laundry baskets, multipurpose racks, and builder hardware products, has ventured into home décor items and is offering a wide range of products that include lamps, mirrors, candle stands, vases, trays, and artefacts in brass, white metal, and copper, under the brand name Tempting Home.
A regular participant at trade events held in tier-two cities like Chandigarh, Bhubhaneshwar, Hyderabad, etc, the company is buoyed by almost 100 percent sales, time and again, at these events. For Saeed Ahmad, MD, Brancley Impex, it is in these cities that the potential for their products lies. "Metros like Delhi and Mumbai are saturated markets as there is a surfeit of home décor items that are priced exorbitantly. Plus, there are innumerable boutiques and showrooms of well-known interior designers specialising in items such as furniture, furnishings, decorative lamps, etc, which are catering to upscale buyers in these cities."
Along with aesthetics, Ahmad promises good quality and durability of the products, which are being exported in large numbers to some Middle East countries. "We have a highly innovative team of engineers, high-tech machines and a R&D division for making our metal products such as ladders and stainless-steel floor drain covers which come with a 10-year warranty. For our decorative range, we have different artisans making these beautiful items as per their expertise in the product category. At the same time, we monitor their work for quality and timely delivery."
Brancley Impex is the second largest producer of aluminium step ladders in the country with two manufacturing facilities. Its commercial use ladders can be used in shopping malls, for maintenance of street lighting, at construction jobsites etc and a range for home use. "We have designed home use ladders keeping in mind the women users who want ladders with broader steps and light weight. Our ladders are easy to handle and versatile, and are made from high grade extruded aluminium, which gives them more strength, rigidity and high corrosion resistance, and they come with slip resistance foot pads. We will soon launch ladders made of mild steel," informs Ahmad.
Brancley's products are available through a network of distributors and dealers in almost every state of India and directly through its sales and marketing office. Its online sales are going strong in platforms such as Pepperfry and the company is in the process of starting its own online platform. Its stainless-steel drain cover is getting orders from importers in Saudi Arabia and Dubai, and Ahmad is looking for distributors in USA.
