Jupiter Aqua Lines Ltd (JAL) is an enterprising international player in the Faucet industry. Since the time of its establishment in 1989, it has developed a keen understanding of user needs and trends across international markets, and has, accordingly, created a wide range of high-quality products, along with an efficient after-sales service, and a wide network of dealers and distributors to cater to customers' evolving requirements.
The company's manufacturing unit in Mohali, Punjab, has an annual capacity to produce about one million units. Products include Faucets, Showers, Bathware, Vanities, Flushing Systems, Bath Accessories, Kitchen Sinks, Sanitaryware, and Storage Water Heaters.
JAL Bath Fittings and Accessories are designed on the principles of Aqua-Dynamics, which is a fusion of engineering with customer-oriented designs, and the products give superior performance for years. The company has recently introduced a wide range of wash basins, water closets and suites in ivory and white.
"With our entry into the Sanitaryware segment, we are now positioning ourselves as a complete bathroom solutions provider. We will soon be coming up with a high-end range of designer products," informs Vivek Kapoor. The company has also forayed into the water storage heater segment and plans are on to extend its operation in the field of Kitchen accessories.
The company's stringent quality control inspection by technically sound professionals involves material tests, dimensional checks, hydraulic test, flow rate test, nickel and chrome adhesion test, and lifespan test of spindle assembly. "We always try to bring indigenously designed products with the latest technology. With our constant market research and development, we now have many patented products such as the foot-operated valve, theft-resistant tap, timer-assisted urinal system and the latest patent is again a green shower, which automatically stops after delivering the required amount of water. Our products are appreciated across countries for their consistency in quality and aesthetics, and we are growing at a 15% CAGR," avers Kapoor.
JAL products are known for their aesthetics, workability, durability and affordability, and have drawn an impressive list of clients that encompasses owners of Luxury Hotels, Resorts, Multi-Storied Apartments, Commercial & Industrial Complexes, Educational Institutions, Hospitals, Married Accommodation Projects of Army (MAP), Group-Housing Societies, Corporations, I.T. "Following our entry into newer segments, we are now aiming to expand our current network of 1,200 dealers and 30 distributors in India, Nepal and Bhutan by 20% this year, and we will focus more on the smaller cities. We are also considering the shop-in-shop format wherein a multi-brand dealer provides exclusive space to JAL products," informs Kapoor.
