Roca has been manufacturing ergonomically designed bath accessories with a focus on quality, aesthetics, hygiene and water-saving. Product developments include water saving dual flush closets, anti-microbial seat covers, electronic flushing systems, and hygienic electronic taps. It is also one of the first sanitaryware companies to have IAMPO, ISO 9001, 14000 and 18001 product certifications.
New developments in eco-friendly products
Recently, the brand introduced energy and water saving gadgets that include eco-friendly urinals like water-less urinals and e-toilets with smart functionalities. We keep investing in the production of sustainable and fashionable bath products specifically for India and also transferring products developed elsewhere to the Indian market.
As the trend is evolving further for toilets, all of the ranges come with different smart functionalities making them a great fit in the modern-day trendy bathroom spaces. Cleanliness and modernization being the foremost concern behind the making of these products, a wide-range of automatic services for cleansing, drying, perfuming along with power and water saving technology are provided across the product range.
At Roca, all our products are easily adaptable to the habits of consumers all over the world. The W+W (Wash Basin + Water Closet), a never-before product in terms of design and solutions, reflects Roca's "water-reuse technology". It reuses waste water from the washbasin to fill the toilet cistern. Here, integration has taken the expression of innovation and design.
Impact on environment
Our waterless urinal system works without flushing water, making it one of the most advanced products in the category by Roca and giving a new name to water efficiency. The product is built in such a way that it does not require any electrical power or liquid barrier for closure of the drainage that makes it versatile, thus saving two very important aspects of today's life – Water & Electricity.
Our latest sustainable range of waterless urinals includes the Parryware Astute touch-free urinal with a unique eco-trap system that uses negligible amount of water while meeting hygiene needs. The use of the special blue seal liquid in the outlet trap (which is lighter than water) prevents bad odour being released from the waste-line. For maintenance, the urinal needs to be wiped just once daily.
The amount of water required by conventional urinal per month used by two male personnel in an establishment is 3,000 litres on an average. Urinals being a functional product, the urinal has an integrated bottle trap, and is targeted at the mid-economic range of users. Through this latest product, we have once again set a benchmark in the industry by presenting one of the most ecological urinals that saves tremendous amount of water when compared to conventional urinals. The product has already found a ready market in institutions.
